Maybe you dreamt it : ) Agreed, very beautiful photo - I actually just bought a rock poster that uses this image, advertising a Robert Plant w/ Band of Joy concert.

I saw your beautiful photos of the abandoned bowling alley. I work for a trade magazine for the bowling industry, and of course your photos struck a nerve. The publisher of the magazine would be very interested in using your images in our magazine and would like to request an interview. If you could please contact me at the email above, that would be wonderful.

I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Thank you so much Clyde! I'm never armed in these places because if I accidentally find myself on somebody else's property, if found with any sort of weapon I can be charged with some pretty major crimes unfortunately.

I do take groups with me and I'm never alone when I know that there is a danger of running into someone who might want to make trouble.

I'm usually too in awe of my surroundings to be scared, but in certain situations I've definitely gotten my heart pumping as well. Completely pitch-black basements of old decaying buildings have a special power to freak me out.

Thanks for bookmarking my site. I hope to see more from you!

I'm actually quite fuzzy about the exact details of where this was. I'm not one to discuss exact locations in the first place, but we found this place completely by accident at 6:00 AM after an hour long nap after hours of driving, so to say my mind wasn't the sharpest is an understatement.

That is amazing! What an absolute coincidence. I took a ton of photos of this place with my wife and the place was eerily intact. We're used to vandals and graffiti artists messing places up, exploring near a bigger city, so checking out this beach house was a treat.

This is a great picture. It brings feelings of nostalgia, of a time when things were better. Very nice work.
