Abandoned
Behind the Scenes

Someone had taken down the cool backdrop, so I figured I’d get a shot from where it once was. I’m sad I missed it.
On the Ground

Some forgotten stuff sits near the edge of where the demolition was stopped when I took these photos. This area is now ten or more feet under a pile of rubble.
Stood Up

It’s sad how fast this place went down. I’m nearly positive this area does not exist any longer, only a week later.
Outside the Beachhouse

When the remnants of Katrina hit the area, a few places were left abandoned even though the place was prime real estate.
Weird thing about this place, though, was that the inside was completely intact. It seriously looked like the people just picked up and left.
Ferris Wheel

This old ferris wheel was sitting alongside the US highway Elise and I took to North Carolina.
One Photo

Just posting one hastily edited photo tonight before I lazily fall into bed. It is so good getting out again after so long.
Little Ramp

Not sure if this was for safety or if they had a tiny truck to drive in equipment. Maybe it was to roll cameras up?
Trashed

This seemed to be the favorite place for people to paint and trash stuff for some reason. The first floor, while trashed, was not nearly as bad as this place. Probably the white walls.
No Smoking

I have no idea if this place was around before smoking was banished in hospitals or what, but random “no smoking signs” were plastered around certain rooms and none in others. Odd.
Lines

The hallway looks almost endless when looking down it. Also, falling apart.
Escape

You’d be pretty screwed if you had to actually. The fire escape locks you in. Maybe not on the ground floor.
